FORE Our Furry Friends Golf Tournament

The 9^th Annual Pender Humane Society’s FORE Our Furry Friends golf tournament at Olde Point Country Club on Saturday, May 12^th, hosted by Suzanne Jalot, radio host at Sunny 103.7 FM. If you don’t play golf you can still help provide much needed support by being a Sponsor, donating merchandise for tournament prizes, volunteering to work at the fundraiser or simply donating.

Olde Point Country Club, in Hampstead, NC will host this exciting event!  Registration will start at 8:00 AM, with a Shotgun Start at 9:30 AM.  Team prizes, special challenge prizes, HOLE-IN-ONE challenges on all Par 3’s, a $50,000 SHOOTOUT for four select golfers, and a special CHALLENGE are all in the plans for the event.  A special pre-round chipping contest sponsored by Axon Trash will also provide a challenge for the golfers.

The format of the tournament is a Captain’s Choice. Individual registration is $80 or $320 for a team of four BEFORE FEBUARY 10^th and $85 pp afterwards. The fee includes a chance to play at the Olde Point Country Club, golf cart and green fees, range balls, light breakfast fare, Sams’ Hot Dogs provided during the round, and other goodies. There will be free Beer (provided by Front Street Brewery), Soda, and Water (provided by Coke, Pepsi, and CheerWine) out on the course! After the round there will be a Pasta Buffet Awards Lunch, with presentation of PRIZES, the raffle drawings (50/50 and raffle items) and Silent Auction winners announced!

ALL proceeds go to support our Furry Friends at PHS.  The PHS is a non-profit organization chartered to rescue abused and abandoned animals in Pender and New Hanover Counties. The shelter is a NO-KILL facility working to solve our local euthanasia problem.  All animals taken in are cared for until they find their FOREVER home.
