Oh boy do our little taste testers love it when they get to “review” new dog treats. Old Mother Hubbard has introduced new varieties of treats with different tastes and textures to please even the most discerning doggy palate.
Crispers
Crunchy, cheesy, and savory, Crispers are available in Cheddar, Chicken & Rosemary, and Parmesan, Bacon & Tomato.
Soft Bakes
These moist cookies are available in Peanut Butter & Carob, Applesauce Oatmeal, and Carrot & Pumpkin.
Fruit’ins
Two cookie and fruit layers are available in Honey, Oatmeal & Blueberries and Honey, Apple & Bacon.
After quite a deliberation and numerous requests of “we need just one more treat to really make a decision,” all three treats finally got four paws up from Assistant Editor Ollie and the rest of the Dog Living pack! You can pick up these gourmet goodies at pet specialty stores nationwide for $5.99. You can learn more about Old Mother Hubbard dog treats at www.oldmotherhubbard.com.
Editor’s note: We are very picky about the food we eat and so that makes us very picky about the food we feed our dogs here at Dog Living. There are two things on the ingredient list that cause a little concern: Canola Oil (in all three products) and Caramel Color (in the Fruit’ins only). It’s nothing to sound an alarm about, but we definitely would not feed our dogs food containing those ingredients on a regular basis. However, the dogs went crazy over these treats, especially the Soft Bakes, so as an occasional snack, we’re okay with it.
