A Solution for Wrinkly Breeds

Some of the most adorable dog breeds around are the ones with wrinkles! Those very wrinkles and folds that make English Bulldogs, Frenchies, Pugs, Shar Peis and other popular wrinkly breeds so very loveable can also harbor moisture, yeast and bacteria. This makes for not only a stinky face, but can lead to discomfort and infection down the line.

Squishface was inspired by founder Tiffany Burris’ first English Bulldog Milo. After adopting sweet Milo, a 2 yr old English Bulldog from a rescue; Tiffany discovered that his wrinkles were infected and he had tear stains. After obsessively researching the type of ingredients that would help the problem as well as those that she did NOT want to use on her dog (things that were toxic to dogs or could cause an allergic reaction), she teamed up with a manufacturer and created the first product in the line: Squishface Wrinkle Paste.

“There were two big issues from the beginning,” said Tiffany. “We didn’t want the product to have water because moisture trapped between the skin folds is one of the underlying causes of irritation. We also had to avoid alcohol which burns raw, irritated skin. A vast majority of skincare products for pets have one, if not both of these common ingredients.”

Instead of damaging water and alcohol, Squishface Wrinkle Paste is a mix of nourishing shea butter, avocado oil and other hypoallergenic ingredients that soothe & protect delicate skin folds. After the phenomenal success of this first product, Tiffany added two other products to the line: Wrinkle Wipes and Tear Stain Paste.

To use Squishface products on your dog, simply clean the wrinkle folds/tail pockets of debris/wrinkle goo with a Squishface Wrinkle Wipe. Follow with a thin layer of Squishface Wrinkle Paste once daily for 7-10 days. Most dog parents see a difference by that point and can choose to either continue with daily use (depending on how deep-set the staining or irritation is) or decrease use to an as needed basis.

If tear staining is an issue, clean any eye area/debris with a Squishface Wrinkle Wipe and apply a pea sized amount of Squishface Tear Stain Paste to each eye area. Make sure that the paste is applied to the skin and not just the fur. Wipe away any excess and leave on for 24 hours. Repeat this routine daily for 7-8 days, decreasing use to every other day after seeing results.
