The New DLM Intern

Good afternoon! My name is Cameron Moss, a Peace College Communication major from Raleigh, NC.  I will be the new summer intern here at the Dog Living Magazine.  My first day seems to be off to a great start while I look forward to everything this internship has to offer.  I will be assisting with upcoming interviews, events, photo shoots and other day-to-day magazine tasks directed towards dog lovers from the capital to the coast.  Along with these tasks, I will be responsible for managing the DLM Myspace page and other networking sites.  I hope to learn many new pre-production, copy-editing and post-production techniques.  Suzanne made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in and then quickly introduced me to her warm-hearted dogs, Ollie and August, and Scully the cat, of course.   Scully made herself right at home on my lap while I did some data entry for the e-newsletter.  I can’t wait to see what the weeks ahead have to offer and I am privileged to have the opportunity to work for a magazine that caters to man’s best friend between each page of each issue.  More to come later.
