VIRTUAL EVENT: 6th Annual Derby 4 Dogs

We are back at the starting gate- working hard on shifting gears to make the best of the Covid-19 situation. Our 6th Annual Derby4Dogs Garden Party will now be a Virtual Fundraiser that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own stable. No heels! No seer sucker suit!  No worry about muddy turf.

On Saturday, May 2 at 4 pm EST, our joyful Puppies-in-Training will run their Derby LIVE at ADDIE’s Way on Social Media. With the magic of technology, WECT anchor Jon Evans will be calling the race. We have amazing experiences and items available on our online Auction that opens on April 15. We will still conduct “best Derby hat and bow tie” contest on FB & INSTA.

Social Distancing is tough. The coronavirus pandemic has greatly impacted fundraising efforts and scratching the 6^th Annual Derby4Dogs fundraiser would result in the loss of critical revenue that supports paws4people foundation and their Clients. We can’t let them down. Our Clients are extremely vulnerable in the best of times. Social isolation could be deadly. We want to be certain that funds are available to continue training and providing tools and resources for our Clients, their families and the Assistance Dogs that transform lives every day.
