While not usually open on Thursdays, the SPCA of Wake County will be open this Thursday, April 15 which just happens to be Tax Day. This Thursday the public can socialize with adoptable pets and relax after one of the most stressful days of the year. Pets are proven to lower blood pressure andd relieve stress, while boosting moods, so all the more reason to stop by. The SPCA will also be accepting in-person, last minute K9-3K Dog Walk registrations and shirt pick up. Thursday’s hours will be from 4pm-9pm. For more information, visit www.spcawake.org.
