We checked it out for you and will feature the James E. L. Wade Park in the March/April issue of Dog Outings. For those of you who just can’t wait to hear about it, well, here you go:
The park is located at the end of Bethel Road, just off of Waltmoor Drive, about a half-mile from the intersection of College Road and 17th Street. There’s not much shade, but there is a great walking path and three bridges as the park is located on the newly created Bethel Road Stormwater Wetland. There are three entrances to the park, but two of those are neighborhood entrances only, i.e., no parking lot. You might also want to note that parking is very limited at the main entrance.
