April is National Adopt-a-Greyhound Month. Now, more than ever, greyhounds need good homes. Racing tracks for these graceful dogs have been closing across the country, and as a result, many of these dogs are looking to be adopted. This breed is beautiful and gentle, and make great pets. The Greyhound Project is a nonprofit organization that is committed to promote the welfare and adoption of greyhounds by providing support and information to adoption organizations, adopters, and the public. They are not an adoption agency, but work with 300 rescue groups across the country.
